Peek from Canyon Lake, Texas, pipes the official party aboard during a Change of Command ceremony for Patrol Squadron Nine (VP-9). The Boatswain's pipe is a historical tradition still used throughout the fleet today. Different tunes mean different messages, which every Sailor understands.
